The US Naval Academy Stadium, owned and managed by the Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA), drains stormwater into Weems and College Creeks. Stormwater management for the site was constructed prior to current regulations.

Stadium Renovation
A $40 million renovation of the stadium is in the planning stages. This renovation provides an opportunity for the stadium to make improvements in the following areas:
Add native trees, shrubs, and other plants to improve aesthetics and stormwater management
Reduce impervious surface and improve parking lot runoff
Improve traffic management and pedestrian access
Reduce light pollution
Reduce noise pollution

Alderman meets with New Athletic Director - January 29, 2002
Alderman Sheila Tolliver met with Athletic Director Chet Gladchuk to discuss residents' concerns for the stadium renovation. She reports that he wants to work with the community on their concerns as the stadium renovation progresses, including stormwater management, traffic management, and buffer zones.
